Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 22 (S01E22)

The first case took them to the Chateau Lagorce in Bordeaux, France and this time it is not a boring investigation with nothing going on. There were a lot of things happening like flashlights and walkie talkies going crazy, lots of EVP's and Barry's photos. Also just listening to the stories of the owner was already pretty creepy. This is one of the most interesting and not boring cases on the show, where they don't seem to have many of, maybe just a lucky break for the location person? If there would be more cases like this the show would not be as horrible as it is most of the time. I even wouldn't mind Brandy in it.

The second case was Capucins Quarries in Paris, France. Basically just the underground tunnel system from Paris. Very boring part of the show, nothing happened and to be honest they could have totally forgot this part of the show and just make it about the first case. I am sure they had more than enough footage for that.

So buckle up for the season finale next week, their biggest case yet! Well that doesn't take much seeing how bad the locations where. March 11th the Ghost Hunters will be back, I really can't wait for that, it will be a nice change from GHI.

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 21 (S01E21)

The first case brought them to the Castillo de la Coracera in Madrid, Spain. The castle already looked pretty scary from the outside so I am not surprised that the last owner had the reputation of being a occultist and war shipping the devil. I think probably most likely the people assumed so because of how the castle looks. And then stories changed from person to person to end up as the stories that exist now about the castle. I think the person that showed them around was pretty disappointed the the GHI team couldn't find or record anything. And I must admit for once I do believe how they debunked it. Sometimes their explanation are just very questionable but not so this time.

The second case was the CastelD'Escales in Celra, Spain. The castle is set pretty nice and it does look very nice inside as well. And also this time they didn't caught any evidence for a haunting. The noises all got debunked by being pipes or something else and anther disappointed homeowner stays left behind.

This turns more and more into the most boring show ever. I mean all the nice location are great but they never find anything. Who comes up with all these locations? Maybe the person should be replaced. And can someone please help Brandy with her makeup? I think it gets worse and worse every episode!

One thing to look forward to is that the real Ghost Hunters are going to be back! The new episodes start March 11th! Can't wait for that.

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 19 (S01E19)

The first case was the Dragsholm Castle in Dragsholm, Denmark. I thought that case was pretty boring. The "evidence" they collected wasn't that amazing either. So wasn't really worth watching. I think it showed as they tried to seem all excited about what they captured driving away at the end. They looked like they going to fall asleep any minute.

The second case was the Cultural Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The location seemed to be more interesting especially since the house is built on top of a burial ground where slaves have their graves. So taking that into account I would have thought that the location would have been more likely to produce some evidence of a haunting, but they were not able to capture anything. The sounds they did hear came from outside. The stairs made some noises when they walked on them so there was also no evidence.

I think that Ghost Hunters International has barely anything on camera anyway. It seems that Ghost Hunters have more and better evidence, I wonder why that is. Is it just that those people are terrible at ghost hunting or that the GH spend more time on a location than GHI?

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 18 (S01E18)

This was what I call a good episode. Joe Chin is the new member of GHI and that is great news! I thought he was always very interesting on Ghost Hunters so he is a absolute asset to GHI! Now just Brandy has to leave and everything is as good as it good be! Everybody reading my blog knows how much I really don't like this show that much. I only watch it because I watch every show about ghosts and the paranormal. This is the first episode were I can say that it was not a waste of time to watch it. After the last episode (S01E17) which was such a disaster I did not want to watch another episode of GHI but seeing how they would show Sweden the next episode I just had to give it another shot and I'm glad I did!

The first case was in Borgvattnet, Sweden (which is not just 50 miles from the arctic circle by the way! It is to be exact 310 US miles but only 50 SWEDISH miles) in a house called "House of Priests". They heard some noises during the investigation and felt like they were not alone in the upstairs. Barry was able to take some weird full spectrum photos were it seemed like there was a cross in one which weren't in any of the other photos. They also were able to capture a womans voice on tape. I think the Swedish girl was totally freak out at the reveal and is probably now not setting foot in the place anymore. She already refused to go into the yellow room on the tour through the house and after the evidence they showed her from that room she just seemed very frightened!

The second case was in Varberg, Sweden at the Fortress of Varberg. The sounds they heard during the investigation were nothing paranormal just street sounds from cars driving by. Also otherwise they didn't find any evidence of ghosts there. Them facing the local weather was pretty funny though! But overall the second half was pretty boring!

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 17 (S01E17)

As weirdly as it may sounds since I always write about how I really don't like Ghost Hunters International I must admit that I was very much looking forward to watch this episode. I was looking forward to it because they went to Denmark! I really thought that the case would be very interesting and maybe the best episode yet? Well not really after the episode started out with the Denmark case it showed that the show was the worst yet. I found that the Trekroner Fort in Copenhagen was quite boring and not interesting at all!

The second case took them to Lima, Peru. They investigated a private home called "Casa Garland" the sounds they heard during the investigation most likely came from a cat that was running around on the roof. And the face they saw in a family photo the GHI team debunked saying that depending on the angle you take a photo of the glass it looks as if you can see a face in it. They really could have chosen better locations. Both were very boring and you have to watch out not to fall asleep while watching this. But if that is what you are looking for then you should totally watch this.

After this episode I really didn't want to watch another episode. This I thought was really the final straw for this show, only after seeing that the next episode is going to be Sweden I knew I really want to watch it even more than the Denmark one and I am hoping this time it's not going to be as bad.

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 16 (S01E16)

So I couldn't resist and had to give it another try. The previous episode was very interesting because of the place they visited and how much evidence they found so I thought I would give it another shot and maybe it would just as interesting. Well I know I have been picking on the show because of the people in it but I must say I can live with watching Robb on the show, but certainly not Brandi. She still is very annoying and I so hope not to see her on the show anymore. Angela fits in with the team and I think it showed this time, even though in the dark she looks like a deranged serial killer. Robert fits perfectly in the show and should be a permanent member even though he was just with the team for the first case of this episode. So when will Brandi leave again?

Well the first case brought them to the Grande Hotel in Cambuquira, Brazil. The hotel was closed down just for them. There were a lot of stories to the hotel and the evidence they got was pretty amazing, even though it kind of seemed like the hotel manager didn't think so because he didn't seem to be that enthusiastic about any of the evidence. Especially the photo Barry took with his full spectrum camera. That camera seems to do wonders with hunting ghosts, where can I get one of those? I really want one!

The second case was "The Little Castle" in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The story is that a family Reis lived in the castle and after the father died the brothers kept fighting with each other until one of them is said to have gunned down the mother, his brother and himself. During the whole investigation you can only hear the traffic going by. How is a investigation even possible there? How can they make out what noises come even from the castle? The castle is basically just a empty shell. So I was very surprised to see they found something. The only evidence they were able to present was a EVP of a womans voice saying a name "Eduardo". So their research showed that the family Reis didn't live in the castle, just used it as a law office and that they are suppose to have had a meeting with someone, maybe Eduardo? The mother had 4 bullets in her 2 belonged to a gun they never found. Also the brother who was suppose to have shot the family had 2 bullets in his heart and the gun in his left hand, even though he was right handed. So was there a Eduardo that killed the family and was the womans voice on the EVP the mother telling them about it? Kind of creepy but also exiting.

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 15 (S01E15)

Every year it is the same thing. Shortly before Christmas it starts, nothing good is on TV anymore. I wonder if they do it so that you get reminded it is holiday season and you should be out there shopping? Then after the holidays they start up again. The beginning of January every TV addicts heart lightens up because their addiction gets fed again, and we don't have to go through withdrawal any more by watching our favorite TV shows on DVD. How many times over the holidays did I watch Newlyweds, King of Queens, ....? Endless times believe me. But after looking forward to shows like Leverage I am confronted with this?

I was so hoping this show ended last year and would not come back. Wasn't it already enough to see Dustin and Robb on the Halloween Special of the Ghost Hunters? The locations they visit are absolutely watchable but they still not have the right people. I mean now another new person? As I saw Angela in the beginning of the show in the GHI car I thought they are giving her a ride to the set of her rap video. Lets see if she makes the show better.

Apart from that I thought the location this time the Real Felipe Fortress in Callao, Peru was amazing! It seems like there is a lot going on and the right team would have made it way more interesting than these people. This was one of the only locations they have actually caught evidence on tape. On top of that very interesting footage. So if you ever travel to Peru make sure to visit the Real Felipe Fortress.

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 14 (S01E14)

Another episode another hope of the show being back to the old format. After seeing the latest episode of GHI I do think that the original GH show is so much better. I can't wait for episodes of GH! Thankfully they start airing September 3rd!

This time GHI are in Romania. The first investigation brought them to the Banffy Castle in Transylvania, Romania. The Banffy Castle is a very run down castle which is used today as restauration school and there a students from all over the world. Which I think sounds very interesting! I am sure that it would be very interesting to see it. Normally building that have been renovated have paranormal activities because the renovations start it up, but the castle has the paranormal activities in the parts of the castle that have not been touched yet. Which is kind of weird. The finding were some sound they recorded and a photo of some sort of light in the doorway of a house. Barry took that photo with his full spectrum camera standing in the courtyard taking photos of the castle.

The second investigation is Dracula's Castle in Curtea de Arges, Romania. I always wanted to go and visit Dracula's castle because I thought it would be very interesting. So I am kind of excited to see his castle on GHI! After the investigation they didn't have any evidence that the castle is haunted. So they didn't have anything to show the local historian. The historian said the he is kind of happy that he can tell people now that there is nothing paranormal going on.

This episode was the season finale, so if you have missed any episode your online change is watching them online! I do hope that there won't be a second season if the team doesn't change back to the one it was in the beginning. So lets see what happens! One thing I am sure about though is that sooner or later you will be able to buy the first season of GHI on DVD, so if you liked the show look out for that.

Ghost Hunters Season 1 Episode 13 (S01E13)

Another episode another glimpse to see if Brian or Donna are back but no such luck. This episode they are going to eastern Europe.

Their first case is Predjama Castle in Predjama, Slovenia. It is a castle build kind of into a mountain. The first people there lived in a gave and then started building the castle right in front. The employees say that they have heard footsteps and everything that they have witnessed happened when it gets darker in the evening. There are caves you can access from the castle. Andy and Brandy went into the caves first, they found all sorts of natural metals in there like iron and salt. Those things can "record" feelings of event that happened there so they can replay it long after they recorded those things. I think the castle looks very interesting and definitely should be on your tour list if you ever go to Slovenia. The reveal showed a couple of EVP's they recorded which I thought where very interesting. But the thing I thought was the most interesting was the photo Barry took in the torture chambers from the third floor down towards Dustin on the second floor and Robb on the first floor. There was some sort of mist coming into the photo towards Dustin, the next photo show it being closer to him. Barry then told Dustin that there is a mist behind him and as Dustin turns around the mist is gone from the photo. They very quite amazing and I wonder what that was.

The second case was Cachtice Castle in Cachtiche, Slovakia. The castle is known for the blood countess Elizabeth Barthory. I have just watched something about her on a show about Vampires. The story is that one of her maids cut herself accidentally. Her blood splatter onto the countess, the countess thought her skin look so much younger and better. So she started to bath in her maids blood. Allegedly she murdered 650 young girls just so she can bath in their blood. She was later sentenced by the court for her blood lust she then was imprisoned in her home where she also died. So remembering the show I just watched a couple of days ago this is very interesting and because of how many people died there. But the GHI weren't able to find anything and so therefor they said that the place is not haunted.

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 12 (S01E12)

The first case took the GHI to South Africa. The Nottingham Road Hotel says to have a female ghost named Charlotte. She folds peoples laundry and TVs getting turned of. As was surprised as Brandy said they have to whole Hotel for them self because they rented all the rooms! well just until they showed how small the hotel is. I imagined a big Hotel this one I guess has about 10 rooms? They did capture some EVPs but other then that nothing else. Of course they debunked a lot of thinks again like the TV because the TV has a timer and you just need to click on button to have it start (well what if you don't click the button Andy?).

At some point the background music was so loud that I couldn't even hear what they were saying. Is that on purpose? It is just plainly annoying.

The second location in South Africa was the Cape Town Castle. The castle seems like a very nice place to visit when you are in Cape Town! The location seemed very interesting. Especially the things that happened to Barry while he was alone in the cell. Something hit the voice recorder and then something touched him. Okay they are so big in debunking. The ringing Robb and Dustin heard they said could not have come from any of their equipment. But they didn't even investigate it other then turning off Robb's walkie talkie. Normally they are so big in debunking, especially Andy. But he didn't want to talk about it at all at the reveal so what was up with that? It could have been any of the other equipment they had in there with them so why not check every single one? Also the castle historian who showed them around said he never heard anything in that room. He has been in there a couple of times and it always has been dead quite in there. So I think that is weird and they should have investigated it more.

Also still a huge question mark over the show is who is Brandy? And where are Donna and Brian? I really can not watch one episode with thinking about those questions. On Ghost Hunters there normally always explained when someone was gone or new. GHI is like this is how it is and we are not going to say anything. I wish they would though!

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 11 (S01E11)

What drama is going on with this show behind the scenes? And still the question who is Brandy Green? I mean they always introduce everyone when they come to the show but she just appeared. She didn't need any training like everyone else that comes onto the show and she is the case manager? And what happened to all the other GHI members like Brian and Donna? Donna had to go home because she was sick, but what about Brian? They never mentioned that either! I think the quality of show is going down whoever causes the drama and members to leave should go seriously. We have seen Barry, Andy, Brian and Donna before and GH and they all worked together well and it didn't seem to be any drama there. Now that there is Robb who is a very bad choice as lead investigator by the way! Is he the problem or who is? I watched the show just because of the familiar faces that we haven't seen on GH in quite a long time such as Brian and Donna, but they are not even mentioned in the shows start anymore. Before GHI started I was hoping Barry would return and be the lead investigator. Brandy is just very boring and doesn't bring anything to the show. Just get Brian and Donna back! PLEASE!!!!

This time they visited Bodelwyddan Castle in Wales. They had a lot of things going on from footsteps to knocking and cold spots to EVP's. It was a investigation with actually things happening which they haven't had for some time. But it could have been more interesting with Brian and Donna there. The investigator were quite boring and I really don't think I am going to continue to watch the show if Brian or Donna do not come back. It is just becoming bland, boring and a very bad spin off. Oh, and another very annoying thing is the background music. Can they turn it any louder? I mean we already can not hear anything the investigator hear anymore so why not just have the music on? Seriously it would be great to hear some of the noises they can hear!

Ghost Hunters International Season 1 Episode 10 (S01E10)

After watching ALL Episodes of Ghost Hunters and had to give Ghost Hunters International a try as well. I love to see some old faces from Ghost Hunters Team. I don't know about Robb though. I would have rather seeing someone like Barry leading the team. GHI follows the standards of GH and tries to debunk most of the things. I kind of think they are taking further though then GH. Especially with saying oh it is this and nothing else. They don't even allow a different opinion. So most of the things get debunked very quickly.

So this episode they are in Ireland. They call GH because they are short of people. So Jay and Grant offer to sent someone to Ireland. The Charleville Castle look amazing, I mean if you are ever in Ireland this should probably be on your "to see" list! The GHI found some very nice things. They have caught one EVP and also found something on photos they took. On the photos it shows how a door is closing on it's own. Their result is that there is some sort of activity in Chareville Castle but they couldn't find enough evidence to say that the castle is haunted.

The second case of the episode was at Samlesbury Hall in Samlesbury, England. It is called the most haunted house in Britain. It looks like a giant gingerbread house. The house was build in 1325, wow that is old!I am sure that is quite a nice location to visit, why not put it also on your "to see" list when you are in the area? I really like when they use their infrared camera. They have discovered a lot of things with that camera. Is that something more people use for ghost hunting? This time they didn't find anything on their equipment that would proof a haunting. I do understand how the Tour Guide was quite shocked that they didn't find anything. Though he still had to say how professional they were. One thing I always find funny is that when they do research and they don't find any records of bones found or a police car having a accident they think the stories are not true. But what if the people never recorded these stories or accidents because back then it was too embarrassing and their didn't want anyone to know? I really think that is a very high possibility and they shouldn't say that a story is a myth or not true if they can not find any records about them. They could have been just kept quite about! Especially in earlier times that could have been a high possibility and I think even now a days a lot of things are kept quite about and not being made a public records! I think people with influence can make everything not being on record! I do hope not to see Brandy in every episode from now on, and Donna to return soon. The team is very good and I would hate to see all these new faces in the show. There are so many people that have worked with the Ghost Hunters and I am sure they would go to be with the GHI! People know them already from GH and will enjoy watching them again on GHI!
